New Forest

Studies of the New Forest Curlew breeding population have been going on for some years, with particular attention given to avoiding disturbance to the birds by visitors to the area; for details of the 2016 results see http://www.wildnewforest.co.uk/new-forest-curlews-crisis/

See the presentation New Forest: Russell Wynn, New Forest Wildlife Group (PDF) given at the Slimbridge Conference in February 2017.
